Android users have been waiting for the market release of the Instagram app which is an amazing one especially for photographers. All that one needs to do is take a photo, edit and share it. It is quite simple and easy to use but it hasn’t had any web-based service for it yet, though many image social networks have tried but without success.
However, the recent release of an image of a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with the app is exciting news for android users. The image is a screenshot of a notification pointing to the Instagram for android application as a ‘Featured App.’
It’s strange that it hasn’t yet been officially announced by the development firm and it hasn’t even been seen on the android market. So we can believe that Samsung has kept the announcement for future. The thing is that if it is even half as famous as the iDevice iteration, the developers would be satisfied with their work. As it is, a large number of people already use Instagram which might greatly increase if the android version of it is also released.
Appearing in the App Store in October 2010, the app currently has more than 50 million users. However, according to Mashable.com, an Android version of the app is currently under development, though an official Instagram for Android Release Date has yet to be announced.
