According to a marketing executive of Sony, France there will be two variants of this new Google TV, to go for sale out. Among these two variants, one would be a set-top box costing about €200 ($ 266 ) and another would be a box with an integrated Blu-ray player costing about €300($ 399).
Besides specifying about Google TV launch date, reports further confirmed that there is a strong likelihood that this new TV by Google will be launched simultaneously in Spain, Germany and UK. This new Sony boxes are said to have a Google play button on their remote controls which will let user to access Google’s app and content store directly.
US consumers were the first one to use this TV but the major problem faced by users that time were its exorbitant prices but now with news of Google TV release date in Europe, the prices are speculated to go down. Sony has provided an apparent deadline to launch Google TV in European market.
